| Abstract | DAS- and DOT-ELISA with modifications are developed for detection of Potato leafroll polerovirus- PLRV in aphids. The methods are applied for mass screening and it is established that 63 % of the single aphids tested contain PLRV . These methods provide an opportunity for mass screening and can be used for epidemiological studies with a view to defining the most proper moment of applying effective control against this virus disease in Bulgaria. |
