| Abstract | Different variants of DAS, ACP, DOT, Kockteil ELISA and immune electron microscopy methods are developed for diagnosis of Tomato mosaic tobamovirus in pepper and tomato seeds. They are applied for mass screening of pepper and tomato seeds and it is established that ToMV persists in pepper seeds for 4-5 years. It is also found that the infection sometimes originate already in the breeding process. |
