AbstractThe observations for symptoms on winter wheat and barley crops were made in different parts of Bulgaria. Leaf samples were taken from plant visually accepted as infected with viruses. DAS-ELISA tests were used for detection of nine viral pathogens: agropyron mosaic virus (AgMV), barley stripe mosaic virus (BSMV), barley yellow dwarf virus (BYDV), barley mild mosaic virus (BaMMV), barley yellow mosaic virus (BaYMV), brome mosaic virus (BrMV), wheat dwarf virus (WDV), wheat soilborn (WSbMV) and wheat streak mosaic virus (WSkMV). According to the positive results obtained most wide spread viruses are follows: BYDV, WDV, BaYMV and WSkMV.
